Place Map
|
The latitude and longitude, a topographical map of the area and a location map of the Iberian Peninsula.

Try the Use Map facility. Here you can select battles from a map of Iberia or follow spacelines (following a campaign from place to place on a map).

In addition there are overviews of the history of the Napoleonic period, the Iberian peninsular, sources, bibliography, contributors and a host of other related items.

In the details section of each battle you will see a link to the original source, if electronic, and and the text of the original. The reason for this is that so often, the links disappear or move. So that the information is not lost a text version is supplied. This version does not contain any pictures, references or any other extras which may be found in the original. You should therefore always look at the link to get the full information. All text supplied from the link is acknowledged.
